CMA CGM has ordered 36 Wärtsilä 34DF dual-fuel engines for 12 LNG-fuelled 18,000 TEU containerships at Jiangnan Shipyard

The engines come through the CWEC joint venture in Shanghai together with Airguard stern seals and shaft-line bearings, with deliveries to the yard from 2027. CMA CGM already runs more than 160 engines of the type.

HD Hyundai has delivered a 13,000 TEU methanol dual-fuel containership to CMA CGM built without manual lashing

Extended cell guides and a portable bench the size of a 40 ft container hold the deck stow, which HD Hyundai says adds more than 10% deck capacity.

JP Morgan's Global Meridian Holdings has added two more 88,000 cu m VLGCs at Samsung Heavy Industries,

taking its programme at Geoje to six ships for delivery in 2030.
