Search across entire fleets, pull the details and reports that matter, and in the same breath get the contacts behind those fleets, so you know which vessels are heading for your facilities and exactly who to call. Ships that want to disappear switch their AIS off. We keep tracking them anyway. When the signal drops we rebuild the route from other trails, port filings, satellite radar, bunker and crew records, and put a confidence score on it so you can see how solid the estimate is. It's the same approach sanctions and dark-fleet investigators use.

Positions are live AIS, off both coastal antennas and satellites. That keeps a ship on the map well out to sea. The rest, contacts, fleet lists, specs, ownership, dry dock and casualty history, comes from a broad mix of sources: class societies, P&I clubs, port state records and more. We re-check it on a regular cycle to keep it current.

Yes. The screening lists are built from public, open-source sanctions and dark-fleet data, refreshed on the same cycle as the rest of the platform, and you can lay them over any company or fleet. Matches surface as warnings right on the vessel and its owner, so a risky ship is flagged before you ever pick up the phone.

Yes to GDPR. You sign a Data Processing Agreement with your order, and the platform is built around the basics: collect little, keep it only as long as it earns its place, delete on request. The contacts are business-purpose B2B data, not personal consumer data. SOC 2 Type II is in progress, not finished, and we'll keep saying so until it is. The current trust report is there under NDA if you need it.

Vessel Hunter is built for a broad range of maritime service providers, brokers included. The dossier covers the ship sale and purchase (S&P) research side, ownership, dry dock, casualty and class, and the watchlists cover chartering and fixtures. It isn't a broker-only tool, so ask us about pricing for a desk.

Shipyards and repair yards spot vessels coming up for survey, refit or repair, dry dock or not, and reach the technical superintendent before the booking's made. Suppliers and service providers get their quote in first, alerted the moment a target ship enters their port, terminal or region, with the contact to pitch already on the card.
