Heidmar buys Dutch shipmanager Q-Shipping
Small cash deal adds nine vessels and a European technical footprint

Nasdaq-listed Heidmar Maritime has bought Dutch shipmanagement and crewing company Q-Shipping in a modest deal designed to broaden its technical platform.
The Athens-based group said it paid roughly $200,000 for the business, funded from cash on hand. The transaction closed this month and brings nine vessels into Heidmar's managed fleet.
Q-Shipping gives the buyer an operating base in the Netherlands and Turkey, together with a dedicated crewing operation in Ukraine. It offers third-party management across bulk carriers, tankers, containerships, multipurpose vessels and yachts. With the addition, Heidmar now manages around 50 vessels commercially and 16 technically.
Chief executive Pankaj Khanna said the acquisition added ships and regional coverage with minimal capital and immediate operational upside.
