C Management builds capesize fleet to three with Maran pair

Cyprus-based owner buys two older Angelicoussis-controlled bulkers

C Management has expanded its capesize presence to three ships after picking up two units from Maria Angelicoussis-controlled Maran Dry Management that were sold at the end of May.

The buyer has been identified by sources as C Maritime, the Cyprus-based owner behind the C Management platform. The vessels are the 2009-built C Antares and the 2008-built C Aurora, both built at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and previously named Maran Happiness and Maran Argonaut. They are now managed by Geneva-registered C Management, with registered ownership listed under Parcape IV entities at the same address as Norwegian shipbroking house Pareto, pointing to broker involvement.

The ships were among the older units in Maran Dry's 35-strong capesize fleet, which has an average age of about 10 years. C Management's capesize footprint began with the C Europe, reported sold into a Pareto-linked structure in December, and the C Management name first surfaced in 2024 with a 2012-built ultramax.
