Saipem wins around $2bn FPSO contract off Indonesia
EPCI award for Eni's Kutei North Hub in the Kutei Basin

Saipem has landed an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract for a floating production, storage and offloading unit at the Kutei North Hub project off East Kalimantan, Indonesia, worth around $2bn for its share.
The award, through PT Saipem Indonesia in a joint venture with PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructors, came from Eni North Ganal, the operator linked to the Eni-Petronas combination. The scope spans engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, installation, commissioning and start-up over an estimated 48 months.
The Kutei North Hub takes in subsea infrastructure and a dedicated pipeline exporting gas to the Bontang LNG plant and to domestic users, with producing wells sitting at depths of 1,700 to 2,000 m.
