A new dry bulk shipping venture has launched in Dubai, set up by two well-known industry figures. Mayborne Bulk, founded by Jesper Lollesgaard and Parikshit Sial, will run an asset-light model focused on chartering-in vessels and building a commercially controlled fleet over time, with particular emphasis on the handy, supramax and ultramax sectors.

Managing partner Jesper Lollesgaard described the launch as a new entrepreneurial chapter after more than two decades working alongside Sial. "We are excited to launch this new venture and look forward to building a disciplined, data-driven dry bulk shipping business serving owners and charterers across the globe," he said. The venture has secured backing from strategic investors, including Dubai-based MINGroup.
