DOF lands two-year Equinor extension for Skandi Vega

Equinor has exercised options to extend DOF's AHTS Skandi Vega through Q3 2029, keeping the 2010-built vessel on charter.

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has secured a two-year contract extension for its anchor handling tug supply vessel Skandi Vega. Energy major Equinor exercised options on the 2010-built AHTS, taking the firm charter through to the third quarter of 2029. The vessel has worked for Equinor since it was delivered in 2010.

"The vessel has been with Equinor since it was built in 2010, and we are delighted to continue to bring value to them by delivering first-class services," said DOF CEO Mons S. Aase.
