DOF adds a four-year backlog with new AHTS award
The Skandi Hera is booked for a four-year term starting around the turn of the year

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has received a letter of award for a four-year anchor-handling tug supply contract. The company will use the 2006-built Skandi Hera for the work, which is expected to begin between late 2026 and early 2027, and will also provide remotely operated vehicle services under the deal.
The award is subject to partner approval expected to be cleared during the third quarter of the year. Financial details were not disclosed, but the company described the contract as large, placing it in a range of $100m to $200m.
Before the four-year term begins, the Skandi Hera will wrap up two campaigns in Argentina, one earlier in the year and one running through the second half, where it has been working alongside a construction support vessel on assignments whose combined duration exceeds 250 days.
